The original film soundtrack to "The Sting" was released on MCA records in 1973. The music adapted by Marvin Hamlisch is mostly from the famed ragtime composer Scott Joplin. The highlight of the record is Hamlisch's orchestral version of Joplin's "The Entertainer".
